In the good old days there would have been a party at the Triangle Inn, and Pete would have been drunk. If you wanted an extra time run you owed Pete a shot of Jack at the bar. I miss the Hampton Raceway days.

Paul: If you go to the last picture the guy in the back ground is Larry Doty, not sure if you know him. He raced at Westhamton all the time also. I just seen Billy Burges at Bradenton Fl. this past March. I tell people that we used to have one dial for the day and it taught us how to race the stripe. Boy, I miss Westhamton and all the people from the era.
