So very sorry to hear this. Johnny D was always gracious to me whenever we crossed paths even said he enjoyed reading my "Live" reports which I accepted as a huge compliment. RIP Johnny D and condolences to the family.

Very sad. It seemed he was making some progress against the cancer. I only knew him through his writings on this web site. He always had plenty to say and didn’t hold much back. I will miss his columns.

Very Sad news! I did not know John, but he bailed me out trackside. Thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. I will also miss his writings and commentary!
