Just happens to run all the way down through Gila River tribal land too.

What does this mean for the future of Division 7?

Is LVMS destined to be the "ONLY" venue hosting Divisional and National events? The CA strips seem to be constantly targeted for "Imminent Domain" progress.

Fortunately there are 6 National events presently in division 7. Divisional races seem to be coming and going.

Move to Vegas. 4 races in your backyard. Pomona and Bakersfield are 4 1/2 hours away. Phoenix for now is 5. No state tax and no rain. Be careful of the buffets that never end.

I think that most of us living in or near Phoenix knew this was coming. The community is building around the drag strip. I've heard comments like "the casino makes more money in 2 days than the drag strip makes all year". Lots of room to build a new drag strip but the problem is making it a good investment for someone.
