Larry, the only pictures I have seen is on the NHRA website. The "Banquet" was held in the Top Eliminator Club tent at the track. Brian Lohnes was M.C. and the food was catered by In n Out Burgers. That is all I know, hopefully more pictures will show up.
Probably couldn't get a bigger venue because of restrictions.

The link below is the only coverage I have seen so far.
In my opinion the NHRA is still is a cost reduction mode that may have contributed to the low key affair. That being said a fresh In-N-Out burger sounds better than a lot of banquet food I have had in the past! https://www.nhra.com/news/2021/award...21-nhra-season |

Due to COVID regulations in CA still, this is why the top eliminator tent and In-n-out (i.e. informal) was used in lieu of the traditional black tie affair held in Hollywood.
The decision was made to not include the sportsman champs in this Wrap-Up party due to not getting the full, deserved experience. They felt it was not right to expect sportsman to travel to great lengths to attend something that was not the full experience.

In-N-Out is much better than ANY banquet food I've had.

Just out of curiosity I was looking the other night what the Champions were getting this year for money. I couldn't find it listed anywhere. Could someone post it if they can find it. Thanks BP

This is a great example of why the World Finals/NHRA Banquet should be in Vegas! Lots of accommodations, inexpensive flights, Sema, tons of banquet facilities and people can make a real vacation out of it. LA/Hollywood is a s@#thole....very little to do and expensive for nothing! IMHO

NHRA really needs to get out of California as a home base. That state is not racer friendly any more. Move to a more centralized location.
