I know it defeats the liteweight thing but has anybody used a tube to fix a persistent leaker?

I had used Regular passenger car tubes in my Moroso front tires for years when I raced at Westhampton on Long Island. It did stop the flat tire troubles, but tubes add to the overall weight of the wheel / tire combination. I found I was giving up a little after I started racing at Raceway Park in New Jersey, the pits were much cleaner. No balance or handling problems with tire tubes .but yes, a little heavier. My GM A body sits on Hoosiers year round, and they lose little air pressure over those months.

I run Moroso DS-2, but I'd just patch what you have if I were you.
