Actually, those small engines pollute significantly more per gallon than a car. Remember no emission controls, no high energy ignition, no ECM to control fuel and catalytic converter.

I am not for all these rules but we need to look at practical solutions, example, battery leaf blower, weed whacker, but large lawn mower No No No, same as chain saw.

The RV industry in small motorhomes are going to no seperate generator, they put in a auto engine start that charges the many batteries, also added solar panels and batteries can run an A/C for up to 4 hours without engine start.

My gas only generator quit at the beginning of this season and the only available replacement was a dual fuel unit that ran on propane as well as gas. I didn't understand why until now.
A lot of stuff like this is poorly thought out because the ideas come from politicians. Politicians are not real people who understand how to live, work and have fun. Lotta people here don't like 46, and that's OK with me. But at least he has a shotgun and a '67 Stingray. 45 don't drive.

EDIT: Cali can't manage it's masses of folks from South of the Boarder as is, how do they expect to get all the gas powered equipment out of the landscaping industry???

People will either buy their generators out of state or through the inevitable black market. Its like gun bans, resourceful people find a way to go around the laws and get what they want.

If you don't want Biden, Harris, Shumer and Pelosi governing our nation stand up and be counted. Talk is cheap, actions mean change. Get these phonies out of office.

Incorrect.
Lawnmower's and generators are available for either the 49-States or 50-States. The 50-States units are CARB approved and can be sold in California. The difference is that the CARB approved units have a different fuel cap for venting and are tuned leaner.

Practical solution to what. How to control mother nature. Earth is evolving and you ain't changing that no matter what you do pollution wise. Can these small engines be made to run cleaner.......of course. But don't think battery powered whatevers are the solution.

I've read articles in trade magazines that the electric vehicle isn't the all win situation. There really isn't a good plan for disposing of all the Lithium batteries. And maybe you haven't looked at pictures of the Lithium mines? Talk about an environmental impact.
Last but not least, we have had people in my surrounding area lose homes from electrical fires due to a plugged in electric car, and it isn't always the wrong cord plugging the car in.

This isn't cut and dry, and to tell you the truth, I really haven't seen the thrill in building a A/S electric car to keep up with the times.
