Here's a very poor quality view of his recent engine.

Charlie,
I saw a video of it running down track. Can't remember who sent it to me. I thought the same thing.. Half of a V-8

It's a mid-deck, Small Block Chevy Pro Stock Truck class block with a Splayed Valve cylinder head. The engine is 191 CID.

Dear Sir, thanks for those details, but I'm a little bit more curious...
Do you know if Mr. Ackerman run a full v8 crank and cam or special machined 4 row only crank and cam. Thanks for your reply, Sincerely, Charles Stewart |

Clint Neff's dragster, driven by Kayla Mozeris, has a Mercury Cruiser Ford 460 engine with Ford E-460 Pro Stock cylinder heads built the same way. Neff's engine is 251 CID. |

Your right Sir,
I also saw the Neff and Mozeris F/DA that Kayla drive and it's also a very, very interesting setup. In that case, look like the complete block is there with a cover just over the passenger side deck. Could it be that, in this side bank, pistons are still there for balancing purpose ? Keep on SSDiv6, Last edited by Charles Stewart; 01-31-2025 at 06:12 PM. |
