f
The baro you are showing is corrected to sea level. You should be using station pressure that is the actual baro reading at track

temperature = 60.86 deg f
relative humidity = 98 %
uncorrected barometer* = 29.24 inHg
corrected barometer* = 30.20 inHg
wind speed = 1.96 mph
wind direction* = NW (333°)
more info: current metric | historical | forecast | help
dew point = 60 deg f
saturation pressure = 0.538 inHg
vapor pressure = 0.527 inHg
grains = 79.9
air density (w/o water vapor) = 97%
air density (w water vapor) = 96%

This really important of you are using weather data for any correction input.

Something fun to watch, old guy with different trailer that has two tool boxes and plenty of storage and I can’t find a darn thing.

Ralph,
I am confused (that happens a lot these days). If the 29.71 BP Larry posted is corrected BP and you show corrected BP as 30.20. Why are they different?

I was thinking maybe corrected BP - Vapor Pressure but that does not workout.

My info was taken from the website airdensity.com it is a very good website as you sill see if you go to it it has most tracks on it and if they don’t have one you want just call them and they add it. I have used them to verify info when I was on the IRL team. We had one of the Mercury barometers. When we got to a race track I would call nearest Airport for the actual station pressure to get their reading. I would suspect that Larry’s baro was set up to something other than actual baro reading at his nearest airport. I was sure when I seen his baro reading this morning it was off. I raced and tested at National Trail many times and have never seen a station pressure that high National Trail actual altitude is over 900+ feet. We used to care a altimeter instead of a cheap baro. If you at the track set it to zero feet and look at reading for the actual station pressure right where the Altimeter is. That was the way I did it when I was Dragracing. When I was at Ford in early 60s we had the Mercury Baros at the Test Tracks and at the Dyno building. As far as the website I listed. I have e never asked them where they get their data and who’s all that data entry but I’m going to call and ask tomorrow.

OK what I did was ► 30.2 - .527 = 29.673

What I see now is that Larry's temperature and RH% are not the same as yours. If I calculate what his VP is ► 30.2 - 0.4935 = 29.7065

Better keep your bias tires on, or odds on blowing off the race is a probability. I remember when Redman/Brad had control this would have NEVER happened. At least attempt to make it better instead of just sending more cars. There is absolutely no excuse for just ignoring the issues. Yes its hot, but TRY......You positively can not read the scoreboards. They might as well shut them off. I guess they have new ones on the way, just not installed, but you guys want to know what's happening, that's what is happening. What there is of the NHRA staff is working their tails off, but its a challenge.......
It looks like they are making quite a few improvements to the track but the scoreboards are USELESS!!! They need to call Belle Rose. You can see those in the brightest sunlight ,
