I find greed to be a particularly unattractive human trait, whether it is financial greed, the desire to be "famous", or some combination of both.

I think it's safe to say that racers in Stock Eliminator did not decide to pursue Stock Eliminator as a way to get rich or famous.

As the father of a daughter, I think the final straw that made me blow a gasket and initiate this thread, was when I saw a link to his girlfriend's pay porn website. I don't want to go into a lot of detail, but I have reason to suspect that she's a drug user. In my career as a police officer, I've never met a sex worker that wasn't a drug user, and many illegal street racers are also known drug users and/or drug dealers, which would explain the association.

I don't think that any of that stuff is healthy for the sport of drag racing, especially since the average lay person would associate them with the sport.

Valid points...
But they obviously have an audience or they wouldn't be doing it...
Drug dealing... sex trafficking... reality TV... crappy Utube "Influencing"... whatever...
Can't change human nature, if there's a profit to be made someone is going to make it...
Morals be damned...
The makers of this stuff don't care what the public perception of drag racing is, they're getting paid and that's what matters to them...
Sad but true...
Only thing you can do is not support them if you don't agree with them...
It's all about "clicks" and advertising aka MONEY...
