Pete, I signed up for it, so I guess I take the punches as they come and try to come back up with a smile on my face. Just wish it would rain on the weekdays when we're all working and be nice and sunny when we want to go play! I couldn't imagine being a track manager in those situations, never going to make everyone happy, glad I passed on that in 2018....lol

Think about this one; Your running time trials at your local track and there is a Thunder storm that is raining down on the city of Tyler, North of the track.
It is sunny and hot and all of a sudden a lightning bolt hits just past the finish line and takes out the timing equipment.. Both win lites are flashing and the system is toast. ($7000 repair cost out of pocket)
You can't call it a rain out because not a drop of rain water fell..
I decided to give refunds or honor the tickets for the next weeks event.
Here was the catch. I didn't get but 50% refund credit on the track insurance/sanction fees because we had started time trials. arg
If I ever talk about running a track again someone please slap me!!

Looks like it’s been revised:

Racers who purchased crew passes at the original event will have the original crew pass replaced at the August event. Crew pass replacement will apply only with the original crew passes from this past weekend.
