"Live" from Bradenton, FL NMCA race 2021

Patsy has spent the last two plus hours trying to get registered to race with NMCA. We put in all information and credit card info to purchase credentials and enter race hit purchase button and it all went away. This after getting gigged $13.01 to enter. What BS. Looks like an early trip home. It said info sent to email not so. Three hours in and still not finished.

The GOOD NEWS is ..... the SOUTHERN SPORTSMAN race in Adel,Ga. is PAY at the gate.....

Unless something has changed, I believe the NMCA allows you to race your first race without being an "official" NMCA member. They also have a nice, helpful registration trailer to assist.

At least they did in Indianapolis last year when we ran our first NMCA race. I'm sure Doug Duell or Dennis Breeden can help.

The problem is with FOAT. Jim Bailey had his credit card information compromised after he used FOAT last year.

Why can't tracks just have a credit card machine available as each racer arrives at the track and be done very simply. If I can walk into a Walmart and purchase any amount of stuff that I want, why can't a track do a similar service as the racer is a customer, RIGHT?????????

They could easily do that but my guess is they don't want to pay the fees that are associated with the banks and credit card companies. Cash is king at the gate.

Everyone here at the track have been very helpful today. We are all registered and have our armbands and are set for the week. We are putting on our NMCA banner and decals! So we will be ready for tech and test and tune tomorrow!

The FOAT makes you send pictures of your car too. But you can get in Wednesday for a good pit spot.
