Back when class racing was started there were more places to race class cars then at the nationals and divisionals. Now not so much. These races will be good for our sport.
This is the mentality we ALL need to have.. playing the "stick it to NHRA" card isn't good for anyone. Looking for other place and providing it those who cant afford the time and travel commitments is literally the only way these classes will survive. If you have a local S/SS association I hope this is the mentality they have as well.. we shouldn't be looking for opportunities to tear each other down in this day and age.. we should be looking to facilitate as many people that want to risk something to put on events... otherwise soon enough there wont be anywhere to play with our class cars except bracket racing.
