Just curious as to why you would not plumb right from the threaded port above the filter as shown in the picture. I have been running an accumulator for many years and use a swivel fitting from that spot to the accumulator. Why would you need adapters etc?

An oil filter adapter is just one way an accusump can be easily installed on the filtered oil side with out creating a bottle neck to smooth oil flow or machining the block. Chuck |
