In General Regulations under 4:2 Ballast, at the bottom of the paragraph,"Maximum amount of removable and/or permanent ballast, unless otherwise stated under Class Requirements, is 500 pounds. This is still in the 2020 rules. the reason that I am bringing this up is because I ran into this about a million years ago when I was playing with the Sunbirds and dealing with the FWD weight breaks. The same would go for my latest project I would guess. In order to change classes I would have to add 840 lbs..

The point that I'm trying to make is that this is a "General Regulation". This applies to everybody no matter what Eliminator you're in. Now what I want to know is is this a blanket NHRA rule or is it an SFI thing and does it apply to us or NHRA as a whole?
