Did the CLASS eliminations get coverage on TV all the way to the finals? Looks like it ended on Saturday after the Alcohol cars ran. There were still 2 more rounds in Stock after that.

thanks Warren and all people involved , its fantastic to watch sportsman/class racing from so far away
My 2c , looked like camera was filming from behind an office/booth window so occasionally there was some reflection/glare . Still fantastic to watch . And i enjoy all the different commentators . Tex |

Warren took the initiative to provide a window into our racing world and does it with no charge to view it, There can always be opportunities to improve, but why make it a right and wrong scenario so quickly? Get off the Yelper button dude. Damn! I suppose you want a refund? LOL

I don't think Warren has much control over the signal strength available at any given track. His coverage of the Columbus event was spot-on, as usual.
I was glued to the computer all weekend and the only people that have a right to be upset with Warren, in my opinion, are my neighbors because my grass still hasn't been cut. |

Enjoyed the coverage a lot. Thanks Warren! I have a question for you. I think it was on Saturday during Super Stock. Looks like something hit the camera behind the cars and shattered the lens.
![]() Looks like you got it fixed pretty quickly if it wasn't an optical illusion. |

I mostly watched Sonoma but switched to Columbus a little. I think Warren did a great job and I appreciate what he does. He said he is going to Bonneville. That might be fun to watch.

Warren as always did a great job. I think the two things folks may be missing:
1. You cant imagine the humidity at this race. 120+ grains the whole time. Substantial humidity haze was visible to the naked eye even over a very short distance. 2. The way the general air flow was (and trust me, there wasn't much) was such that the tire smoke from burnouts was constantly wafting exactly where the cameras were. The coverage was great, the feed worked nearly flawlessly, and it gave folks across the country the ability to watch this event for free. If anyone feels compelled to complain, you are indeed a card-carrying, bonafide member of the entitlement establishment. |

OK - I've been on the highway from Sonoma to Topeka and this is my first chance to respond.
Thanks to all for the positive feedback. (Yes, even you, BobbyH) I try to provide coverage from as many locations and at the best quality possible. When you see things that frustrate you with the coverage, believe me, they frustrate me more. My personal reputation is on the line every time I flip the switch to start the stream. Sometimes, that means working around roadblocks and within constraints presented to you. Columbus is one of the more difficult locations to cover because of some facility issues. Specifically regarding the picture quality, the cameras are positioned in the tower behind a tinted window. Over time, that tint (film) has deteriorated and formed cracks. Not a problem if you're working in race control and looking down track, but certainly a problem for a camera picking up refraction and glare and constantly trying to auto-focus. Jay and JJ have done an outstanding job in improving the facility in a short time. Replacing the tint on the glass is probably on their list but not the most urgent thing to take care of. Moving forward, we'll work on ways to improving that quality. Sorry if that was long-winded. Not making excuses, just trying to explain. Again, thanks for the support. I greatly appreciate it. Warren |
