It's interesting what can happen when you do the following things:
A) Give racers two races for one tow. B) Make one of the events a National Meet. C) Eliminate the stupid, silly, childish," We'll manage you and tell you when and if you can race" point grading system.. What do get when you eliminate the nonsense? How about 140 Stockers for a four day race, and assuming only 1 crew member each, the Stock entry fees are 67,200.00. The purse for Stock is 6000.00. Ladies and Gentlemen that is 61200.00 in gross profit from Stock alone! While NHRA is struggling with covid, as are a lot of business', if they end up putting their Pro year on hold, maybe, just maybe, they could spoil the heck out of us for a year, and make very good money doing it!
