As impressive as those Pro Stock cars were, since this thread is titled "Top 10 Significant S/SS cars, I would replace the P/S cars with; Jere Stahls Hemi Plymouth,
Jim Van Cleves 427 Fairlane (my Ford & Div. 6 bias showing?), John Calverts 68 428 Mustang (a winner in Stock and S/S), Kevin Helms 69 Camaro, and since I believe Ralph Ridgeways 55 Chevy was actually a Modified Production car, I switch it for.........Ben Wenzels one owner Z/28 Camaro

I know it was an IHRA SS car but how about Mike Boyles Good Ol Charlie Brown Wagon. Many time World Champ and still at it

Ray Cook and Artie Leong's 70 Hemi Challenger convertible should be mentioned. World Champion and Grace Cup Champ back in the day.
