I don't see going to a drag race as any more probable for exposure than WalMart, Walgreen's, or the grocery store.
The amount of exposure going to a drag race would depend on the number of people in attendance. There will be thousands in attendance at the National event in late June, sitting side by side in the grandstands, which would create a much higher chance for exposure than being in a Walmart, Walgreen's or grocery store. However, late June is two months from now; so we will have to see what progress is made in containing this disease.

From Google, each year there are about 100,000 cases of flu reported in the USA
with about 36,000 deaths, with the Chinese covid 19 there are about
680,000 reported cases with about 35,000 deaths, do the math.

The numbers you are quoting are from an entire flu season. The numbers for COVID-19 are increasing on a daily basis and will continue to do so. No one will know what the final numbers will be until the virus is completely contained, and that doesn't appear to be any time soon.

LOL, you need to work on your math.

CDC Reports 13 Million Flu Cases Thus Far in 2019-20 Season

According to the report, the overall rate of influenza-associated hospitalization increased to 1.9 per 100,000. The highest rate of hospitalization has been observed among adults aged ≥65 (47.6 per 100,000 population), followed by children aged 0-4 years (34.4 per 100,000 population) and adults aged 50-64 years (23.2 per 100,000 population).
This past week 7 new influenza-associated pediatric deaths were reported, bringing the seasonal total to 39. According to the FluView report, 28 deaths were linked to B viruses—5 of which had their lineage determined and were B/Victoria viruses—and the other 11 deaths were associated with A viruses, 6 of which were A(H1N1)pdm09 virus-associated.

Then you can make your choice to stay at home if you feel threatened.

This is just more of Bader grandstanding. There will be dozens of police cars at the Norwalk track if he attempts to open the gates. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he would get himself arrested just for the press. But you can bet your Stimulus check/direct deposit that the track will remain closed as long as the Governor wants it closed. All the rest of his stuff is hooey.

Actually agree with some of this.
But maybe it's actually "pushing the envelope" ,in a political sense.
Seems reasonable that they could run a Summit series race, within a month's time.
Huge seating capacity for very few, adequate precautions. Entirely possible to do, in my experience.
It may come down to a push and shove match, but I hope not.

10 people max. All the rest is fluff. Bader could care less about a Summit Race or a test'n tune. He wants the bucks that only a mega event can bring in and he ain't getting it until the Governor says he can. And as a side note most governors are now saying that there will be no large sporting events until fall of 2021.
