Actually agree with some of this.
But maybe it's actually "pushing the envelope" ,in a political sense.
Seems reasonable that they could run a Summit series race, within a month's time.
Huge seating capacity for very few, adequate precautions. Entirely possible to do, in my experience.
It may come down to a push and shove match, but I hope not.

10 people max. All the rest is fluff. Bader could care less about a Summit Race or a test'n tune. He wants the bucks that only a mega event can bring in and he ain't getting it until the Governor says he can. And as a side note most governors are now saying that there will be no large sporting events until fall of 2021.

Perhaps you ought to define "greed" for us.
Perhaps you will understand this and perhaps you won't. In this context greed is anybody willing to risk the life of another human being for the sake of a GD dollar. Do you understand that?

Sounds pretty cut and dried.
However , real life never quite adds up that way.
An owner /operator could push his rig right up against fed. hourly regs , in order to feed his family. He could still fall asleep and kill somebody. Was he being greedy?
The question is meant to be rhetorical. BN's opinion would , most likely be 180 deg. out of phase with MY's.

Scale seems to be a problem for you. Comparing a single truck driver to a cat who wants to pack in tens of thousands of people is a bit of a stretch. No, it's a hell of a stretch.

"Pack in tens of thousands" Sounds a bit extreme.

However , not my question..Therefore not an answer.

Direct quote from BN..hence my question.

If a track opens I feel as though I'm capable of making a good decision as to weather I can attend an open air event safely or not. Heck, I could even wear a mask and gloves. If I had health issues, I'd stay home. I'm comfortable with making decisions for myself.

something to think on:

South Korea has probably the most comprehensive testing yet. As of today, 160 some odd people have re-acquired the virus. Some say it may have gone dormant, hence the "flattening" of the curve. Or a rush to "normalize"?True or not, shouldn't we err on the side of caution?

I work for an "essential" manufacturing company. There are a few thousand employees. Most of us wear masks, some wear gloves too. It has become second nature for me to clean common areas with a bleach/ water blend, wash, wash, wash my hands and use sanitizer often. Need to lotion up too. Folks with medical conditions have been allowed to stay home for 3 weeks. Most of us are pretty good at social distancing, not talking directly at each other, etc, by now. The cafeteria is open, but everything is wrapped up. We have had a couple of COVID-19 cases, but no deaths as far as I know. In the beginning it was sketchy: we didn`t know what to expect and we were all on edge. Everyone is pretty comfortable with work, at this point.
We are looking forward to testing kits, to make sure we are all clear. Social distance, wash, wash, wash. We can beat this.
