I think this link will only work if you have FB and are signed on. AA/SA final. Pond vs McLanahan. It was a post on FB from Nicholas James Samson. I'm not sure if he is on CR but.....it is a terrific video. Kudos to Nicholas.

Robert Pond really stepped up for the final. I don't think he has ever gone that quick. Brian had been quick all day.

Even though my guy lost it was a great race and hopefully those thousands in the stands thought so too and let NHRA know.

Pond outqualified McC 9.76 to 9.89.
