how about putting front brakes on the dragsters. Since they "stumble" the motor off the line, It would speed up the class and do they really worry about traction? I dont understand most of why NHRA does what it does, but it's their ball park. tks

Front brakes on spoked or pie cutter wheels are useless. What they should do is stop any Super Comp car from crossing the starting line on their burnouts.

I seem to recall an instance many years ago, I'm thinking circa 2000, where NHRA demanded a driver remove the front brakes from his dragster.
