I went to a go cart race this weekend and asked how much was the purse, they told me that there was no purse but only points and a trophy, gentleman's race. I was thinking that NHRA could head that way with larger entry fees and no purses except to the season champion and top 10, they would still fill the fields at national events.

They’re headed that direction Casey, decent field and they will have a net increase in revenue, wonder if the tracks get any of that. And now they’ve announced the Countdown for Pros will include anyone who follows the full tour! Sounds like “participation trophies” to me....
