Looking at protecting my rig, and considering what GPS tracking devices everyone might be using. Looking for some input. Thanks, and Happy New Year.

TKstar is the one I use. Buy it off ebay, get a cell phone sim card and you're done. No monthly fees. It's about $45 and you charge it like a cell phone.

You'll need a sim card from a cell phone carrier, not a memory card. The device comes with instructions to install an app on your phone, once you have the app you can track it from anywhere and it will send you alerts if there is any movement. The battery charge lasts for about 3 months and when it's low it sends an alert. I find it kinda fun to look into history and it shows you on a map where it's been.

The unit is smaller than a deck of cards, is water resistant and has a strong magnet on the back. There are a lot of options to set it up and a free app you can download to your phone. Couldn’t beat it for the money.
