Come on, NHRA. They take points away and fine drivers for that kind of stuff in NASCAR.

So... Who thinks there may be a new Capco funded Top Fuel team next year. It is entirely possible that it will be cheaper to fund a TF team for 1,2,3,4 or 5 years than damages from lawsuit. After all damage to reputation, defaming, loss of future funding and loss of stature (not to include any physical damages or mental anguish), all caught on live TV! He should be calling Paul Cambria for advice!

I'll bet Mr. Ferre gets some new parts and/or budget help for next years racing endeavors.

I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure Cameron Ferre would need to pursue it not NHRA.

Cool Re: NHRA rules for everyone but STEVE TORRANCE

Ever coach Little League ball? Youth soccer? Same mentality here. Usually some dad, living vicariously through his son, can't keep it under control and these things happen there. It doesn't belong anywhere, but the term"professional" should result in less of it. Success sometimes breeds ego, the more success, the greater the egomania. I always wondered, how do some people we all know develop an ego problem when they not only have no success racing, they are complete failures with the rest of their lives?
