Your understanding is incorrect. It has been arbitrary all year long. It is not automatic......As for Paul Wong, he has been torn down many times in his racing career, ......

Paul has been torn down several times in that car and has always passed.

If they are operating under the "torn down many times" conditions, I would think a guy that was just torn down 2 weeks ago would fall under that. Yet, Bobby was torn down in Vegas again. I am not saying Paul wouldnt pass tear down, but if we are going to start tearing down 1.20+ under runs, then they should get ALL of them.

I was fully prepared for the tear down. I even had help come out so I could get it done quickly. There was no mention of bringing the car up, so I figured I was getting the power and that was that. I have done many late notice tear downs some in the dark even. Even one at Indy when they were calling for me and a couple other racers. I was the only one to show up on for Friday afternoon when the other racers left the property.

I think that I was probably the first to do this in recent times. I know how that all came about and still feel that it was a good call on the NHRA's part. As for Vegas, the car that I was most interested in was torn down and passed..... |

Mr. Gump, obviously you have a selective MEMORY. A certain Mustang Il went 1 20 under at the gators and didn’t tear down .....You can’t blame the racer if they are not invited to the party. Paul Wong was ready for the party, but there was no invite .....BTW, I liked you in the movie.....

Mr, Gump, are you that dense, or just plain GULLIBLE ??? I don’t care what NHRA told you, the fact of the matter is that all cars that go 1 20 under do NOT tear down. Let me make this CRYSTAL clear. Paul Wong was not the FIRST 1 20 under car that didn’t tear down this year...Now go find your source at NHRA and ask him about that ......BTW, is this the same NHRA that told us there was a break in at WAYNE COUNTY many, many years ago ?????

FYI. I was being sarcastic. I know they have not been tearing people down. I helped a Cobra Jet get HP earlier this year. They didn't tear that guy down either...... My whole point is that I think they should be. Anyway, I'm going back in my corner to eat some glue and watch cartoons. 😎 |
