I have to thank John Donato, Jason Schade, and friend and adviser Gary Jennings for their help yesterday. Gary had to identify, defective hardware, suspension "binds", do to my screw-ups, and scale the car to get corner weights correct. Almost forgot wheelie bars, I got them wrong too. Gary is a keep it simple genius. In three hours everything was fixed except the failed suspension parts. My job was simple, I was the go-for guy and then I would watch him work and try to learn. It was intense without any breaks or BS. Occasionally we would laugh at how slow we were since we had gotten old.
It was kind of like when I was a kid watching my father working on something, trying to help by not holding the light in his eyes.

All in all it was a good day, and I needed one of those.
