I live just 60 miles South of BG in TN. 20 - 40% chance of rain is the norm down here. Doesn't necessarily mean it's going to rain. And if it does, it usually doesn't rain very long.
If you decide to make the tow, the odds of the event being a 'loss' are slim to none. It's 93 feels like 101 at the track as of 2:30 Wednesday. This is usually the norm for this event. But the forecast shows highs of mid to upper 80s which means the heat index will be mid to upper 90s. This is actually a lot better then usual. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a small shower each day. But it usually passes quickly and track drying begins. And the sun only helps. And how about the forecast weather for Indy? Yeeoyza!!!! |

Well, the T and T is halfway completed and the weather is 91 degrees,51 % humid , and 29.45 barometer. Adjusted altitude in the 3200 feet area....The track here figured out a great way to decrease the number of cars testing today, just raise the fee from 50 bucks to 85 ...Would like to personally welcome Lance and Hannah Line to Bowling Green, Ky....Many racers are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Larry and Patsy Hill , and the number one GM fan Todd and Autumn....more to come......

We experienced some rain during the early morning hours but by 7 am it was all gone as the skies began to clear. The sun is peeking out now as we all look forward to a high temperature of 81 degrees. Rigs were filing in all night long as a result of Beech Bends 24 hour gate. The place is packed. Super street starts at 9 am and is then followed by Stock. I would like to say Thank You to Marvin Benoit of Quick Fuel who sponsored a cookout at this race for numerous years. It was much appreciated and we sure missed the great food, fellowship, and bench racing this year....THANKS MARVIN !!!!!!

Sorry guys, but we aren't going to make it to Bowling Green! Still putting the final touches on Dumbo! If the rain stays away, we are going to try to test tomorrow and head on to Indy! Looking forward to finally seeing all our friends again!!

We have had a few minutes of downtime due to short rain showers but both stock and superstock have completed Q - 1........112 Stockers on the first sheet with 6 dq’s. Randall Campbell on the pole with his Chevy truck.
