Stock hood configuration clarification

Or say a 1972 454 360HP engine in a 69 Corvette, would he be allowed to use the L88 hood? Could be interesting if somebody put together a 68 Hemi Dart or Barracuda body package together with a MoPar small or big block Wedge as a GT combo.

Couple of guys have done that. The two that come to mind easiest for me are Eric Bell and Darren Smith running 440-6’s in a Barracuda and Dart, respectively. Both ran with fiberglass hoods and scoops.
