Was Joe Ralph Thompson the original owner of this Dart?
It seems that all of the pictures I have seen of the car are from 1970 when it was running P/S - seems like I have also seen it in M/P. At the US Nationals (or maybe the World Finals ) in 1968 he had the 65 car.

Yes he was. Number 43 on original owners list. Gene Graham was usually driving it

For those who want to know, Joe Ralph Thompson was the original owner of the Dodge Demon as well, it was taken to a guy in the Chicago area that was a "hippey in that day an age as he wore a goatee and he painted his face on the truck of the car, sorta his signature. Of course if any of you out there knew may father and mother you know it didn't last long on the car, he removed it. Great a paint job. The reason for the special paint was it was lighter by about 100 or so pounds.

WW63 has owned this car over the years. Do you recall this car looking dipped?
