I agree with much that you have said lately, Ed, using your typical way with words.

However, it is possible to be happy about your win and still have valid concerns about the sport and/or series.

sure it is. Waiting for some active racer regardless of class, to state their specific concerns and how it effects them.

I love racing NHRA, from my home in Division 2 as well as traveling to Division 1. As Todd mentioned, I too feel it's the safest place to race and I am thankful that I am afforded the opportunity to do what we do.

We had a great time racing in Division 2 this past year down at Silver Dollar and Rockingham.

Unfortunately we won’t be returning to Silver Dollar this year. They dropped us from the schedule. One of my favorite tracks.

Yea, I saw that. Nice people down there, treated us well, food was good but I could do without the nats. Have family that live in Georgia that came by, doing my part to get spectators in the stands.

The track is always nice but the gnats was really bad. But it was also the worst run divisional that I have ever been to. The race should have finish well before the rain came. A lot of wasted down time with no control in the staging lanes.

A lot of the times,it's a thankless job to be to be part of the track personnel and what they have to put up with.A show of kindness and appreciation cost
nothing........Even an old dog likes a pat on the back,and told he's a good boy.I'm thankful to race and for these under appreciated people.God bless em all.........
