Our drag racing community has lost an icon of what it means to be a dedicated racer. What a loss. God speed, Dave!

Was the first person to approach me when I joined the asra. Always a gentlemen. And a tuff competitor. Sadly miss. Thanks for all the fun Dave.

Dave's obit is now posted

https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obit...lebrun-8130221

Raced against Dave since I started in 1974, we laughed, we agreed , we disagreed, we both wanted to beat each other every time we raced, but most importantly, Dave wanted the best for the sport, and deservedly so , that brought him the respect that he deserved.

Rest in peace my friend

Never forget A/SA Class @ Indy 1990. I had him covered performance wise but the .500 light he hung on me negated that!!

A Gentleman and Class Act all the way.

RIP Dave
