Hasn't the SS/AH index been 9.30 since 2009? I've never seen 9.45, getting 3 tenths back will be good for those guys.

That's a good point, it was 9.30. If it's really 3 tenths back, that would have been 18 Hemi cars qualified instead of 5 at Indy this year I believe. If it's 0.15 back, it would have been closer to 15.

That will get those guys HP fast and they will be back right where they were before. The guys that run AH at Indy don’t usually stick around for eleminations anyway. The good cars don’t care about saving index, they want to make good runs and go fast, and set records. Not about bracket racing normally

The 2017/18 590 Copo at 630 makes it to heavy to be legal how could it run at 3635 it is a 3300 lb car. legal setup is under 3600 that is why in Factory showdown they didn't add the extra 50 lbs to the Dodge that would have put them at 3600 so they dropped it to 3575 and took 25 off the copo

Personally I would like to see it at 9.60 but I must have missed it jumping from a 9.30 to 45. Humm.

I had always thought that the AHFS was just BS and a game most played. But now I'm a believer. With the 2015 COPO'S getting 5 hp it puts me right back in the game. They had me by at least .35 and now I'm only 3 tenths behind. NHRA was right after all it really works. I just have to give it about 7 more years. It could be my 70th year birthday present. Can't wait. BP
