Welcome to the new "Stock"

Something like this, maybe?

http://www.cfrperformance.com/CHRYSL...cfr-7117-z.htm

What I want to know if they were able to shake them down for the contingency plan.

Yes, the new STOCK....goes something like this.....send e mail to Pat C....tell him that he is doing an outstanding job for NHRA....Cry like a baby....convince Pat that all racers with similar combos are experiencing bearing problems...cry like a baby...propose to Pat C that new oil pan will solve the problem and convince him that it is STOCK appearing..cry like a baby......said racer has now officially applied for WELFARE.....watch NHRA competition site for rule revision....Welcome to the new Stock Eliminator....

You've got to be all over the map on this stuff too. You can't you use a Chevy II Moroso oil pan on any other models but you can use a race 426 reproduction pan on a 383 station wagon. Make sense to anyone? By the way congrats to Jim. I was waiting for the youngster with the big Pontiac to get it together and give you a run but it didn't happen this time.

The new STOCK eliminator must also include just a slap on the wrist for being caught with a trans brake.
