Anyone have any suggestions on GT combinations ? Can the crate motor be used (350ci 330hp) by swooping the vortec heads for a NHRA legal replacement head ? The way I read GT can use any intake and any cam ? All suggestions welcome.

I can run SSGA of SSHA with the 350 or SS/IA with the 327 in my 68. I have the 327 in it now and seems a bit more competitive than the 350. The 327 can run either the SS hood or the flat hood. The 350 has to run the SS hood. The 396 is an option as well that runs E or F

1968 350 295/313hp Shipping wt 3080 Power to wt factor 9.84. Natural SS/HA min wt 3140. Can run SS/GA at 2985. Can run SS/IA at 3300. Please note difference in shipping wt. That is due to the 350 being an SS option. People run the SS hood on 327 combo alot, However it is not technically legal. You could not get a SS with a 327. |
