I think not!! I'm not sure of the comp guys take, but their car count numbers are not improving. I don't know if the P I has anything to do with it, sounds like a poor idea to me.

Let's go the other way and run off the national record. You run under, you're the new record holder and come apart. It's a performance based eliminator, some people seem to forget that. Put up or shut up! And while we're at it the quotas are 65 cars let's, have it a 64 qualified field. 1 car doesn't qualify and you have a 6 round race. no bye runs. Half back if you don't qualify :O and still have a limited amount of rounds ( controllable, profitable and we would all know how fast each other is!) I would still go even if I was only a tenth or two under!

1. "Stock" needs to be stock again. All of the performance parts catalog stuff has got to go. If it wasn't on the ENGINE when it left the factory, then it ain't legal. No "over-the-counter" ****.
