The race was rained out today. It was called around 10am or so. There was no rain near the track the past several hours. I can imagine a cooler day, with no sun, would have made it difficult to dry. Sucks when the weather forecast is way wrong as often as it is. But, in twenty-three years coming to this race, it is only the second ever rain-out, and first in twenty years. So, hard to get *too* upset. Thank you to all the racers who came out this weekend. Sitting in the hotel room is not my idea of the most exciting way to spend my birthday. But, hey, s**t happens lol.
