Well it is another gorgeous day here at Beech Bend! 60 degrees now should be 65 or so when we run in about an hour. Super street is out first at 8, then stock. We get 1 run this morning then first round this afternoon . They are showing first round today for super street, stock, super gas,super stock and super comp. More later.

9 05 pm and that's a wrap for today....There were traction issues in both lanes which was very surprising due to the comfortable august temps....The 3rd qualifying session for superstock turned into a marathon , as I thought it was never going to end due to lingering downtime..In the first round of superstock as darkness was rolling in the majority of pairs missed their dials anywhere from 3 to 6 hundredths....The Ratso Camaro driven by Ken Vaughn broke a 40 spline MW axle, took a harrowing ride and barely missed hitting the tree...WHEW !!!
