Last year I was doing some testing on the cooling system on my newest Stocker.

In a 36 hour span I made 34 passes with the car.

On the closed hood cool down test session, I made 6 passes in 59 minutes. The span of those 6 passes from slowest e.t. to quickest e.t. was .04 seconds within that span of time. It was 90 degrees that day.

A couple years ago we ran an IHRA pro am and a SSSSA race the same day. I ran 11 rounds that day and won 10. Won the IHRA race and RU in the SSSSA race. add 2 time runs too. Fun day. This was super stock in the IHRA and a combo in the SSSSA race.

Back in the day about 1971 I went to Union Hill raceway now called Music city they had a round robin race for stockers I had the same combo as now 427/425 69 Camaro it ran b/sa then all run til I winner then all run again except the winner for 2nd race then all run again except the winner in a third race Was any body else there! I went 6 or 7 rounds I think maybe more and I lost in the final I could run about a tenth off the record then which is how they spotted you I then got in the second race another 6/7 rounds and lost again in the final got in the third race another 6/7 rounds and finally won ! I think it payed $700,$5oo,$300 what a night ! I still have some pics from that race

I've made 16 in three hours at Mission, three runs within 6 minutes too which is kind of a feat when you consider the return road exit back to the burnout box is nearly a mile of posted 10mph speed limit... which gets stretched a little.
