We definitely will have some challenges. Will have to "park" C10 fuel along the route like the Iditarod dog sled guys. We know the lunch and overnight stops only, not the exact route until 30 minutes before start. Also upgrades to cooling and electrical systems without altering the car. We use magnetic wire loom which has some badazz magnets. I hope to get the car down this weekend, gets some before pics and start a punch list. The good news is I am navigator and my ole' Nam F4 pilot brother-in-law has to wheel this beast. He ain't gonna' like me after this one....Phish

Here are a few pics. Not going to be much work at all. Needs tires, one high beam out, fresh wiper blades and some black lap belts. Window slides and door locks functional but no horn. Not sure if these even came with a horn. There is a wire plug in the horn area so test light check when I have some help. The master cylinder is new but I have the old one in a box. Undercarriage is spotless so I hope it doesn't rain.....

![]() Yes, cooling and brake upgrades are allowed without penalty. Since this car is young compared to a 1914 American Lafrance type car, we only get a 2% multiplier versus their 50% break on time error. But the motto is "to finish is to win". Our goal is to terrorize the teams/fans and to finish without wrecking the thing. Looks like Mopar Media and some mags or going to cover this crazy idea. Too bad we have no back seat, they could ride along. LOL Last edited by Spyphish; 01-24-2017 at 05:49 AM. |

Phish…Great Project. Looking forward to following "The Journey". I'm glad to see, I'm not the only one who puts the newly arrived parts on the dining room table. MB

Any updates?
What a crazy, fantastic idea! Kudos to you, Spyphish. So, you have an LO23 Dart and a BO29 Barracuda? |
