The original challenge was "let's hear what you got", but very few have been posted. Is everybody keeping their cards close to their chest or has everybody lost their imagination? I will submit one and challenge anyone to follow:
96-98 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 360. Cheap to buy. Good engine and trans combination. Runs J/SA - N/SA depending on the trim. Engine is way underrated. You could run under the index with one these things using a rebuilder's short block. Good visibility.

Nah, but you gotta realize that when some of us try to enter into the foreign car world, things seem a little strange to us..

What about the "quadraports"? There are still bargains to be had in the four doors. I know it's no dime rocket but you can hang aluminum parts and a Max Wedge on a '64 Dodge/Plymouth, unlike my 64 wagon! Speaking of which, wagons can still be a bargain...

Now, that right there would be one FUN ride! Probably cost more than a dime to do though. I just looked that one up the other day for a buddy (his is a wagon even cooler!). Runs O/P/Q. Enough cam, good heads and intake, 2V carb isn't the biggest 2G but it's bigger than what I'm used to dealing with.

76-79 Chevy 305 2-bbl is a good choice in any body style.

Dwight, I think you should build the Jeep package and fully document the process. You could be a trendsetter. Well, you already are a trendsetter but could add Jeep building to trendiness.
