Travis,

That was a rare shot of Fons driving the original "Missle" Cuda in 1974. He bought this car from Teddy Spehar after his deal with the Rod Shop went South. Further down the page is a photo of Irv Beringhaus' Duster which was the last car Fons ever drove which was the 75 Springnationals. Fons bought the Duster from Irv's widow after he was unfortunately killed in his first Ford Pro Car some time in 74. The Beringhaus Duster was also black and was painted to be a basic duplicate of the Cuda. Mike bought the Duster because the Cuda was quite heavy by comparison and therefore wasn't a good match race car.
