NHRA must be doing something right that so many cars came to quality.
Yet so many complaints about NHRA.

Old hand Paul Mecure took Pole Position with a fantastic warm weather run of -1.523 under index run.
Followed by V/SA Jim Parsons (-1.435), U/SA Gary Summers (-1.317) and U/SA Brian Seaburg (- 1.281).
Amazing effort by lower class Stockers making it in the top five against the PLETHRA (from Three Amigos) of FS cars.

Amazing alright , but you are way off on almost all of your numbers.

NO eyes are good.
I got the First Round Qualifying sheet!
See that some of them improved a good bit in Q2 and Q3.
Showing 1.56 under for top qualifier.

BTW when does a Stocker go 8.33 sec in 1/4 mile?
If so what does one of these new Super Stockers do?
