Update here:

We can get the engine transferred right back to Chandler,Az. ,if we can get it to Sonoma.

The engine is at a machine shop in Medford, Or..The owner will not be going to Woodburn or Sonoma, as things turned out for him.
So, what I need is someone who lives or will be passing through Medford, to bring it to Woodburn or Sonoma for us. If I get it to Woodburn next week, that will be step one.
The shop is about 4 miles off of I- 5 , near a major state road exit .Easy on, easy off.
Anyone who can help out here, would be sincerely appreciated. The buyer would be glad to compensate you for your troubles

While I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area (1980 to 2004) in about 2000, I bought a 360 Magnum engine long-block that was disassembled, but new, from a Las Vegas Dodge dealership.

I had to go get it, so I (traveling alone) drove my Ford Festiva (about the size of a Fiat 500) to pick it up and bring it back. The rear seat back folded down flat, creating a huge, cavernous cargo space, so there was no problem getting the disassembled parts, bock and all, into the car.

On the way home, I stopped for gas on I-5 north of Bakersfield. There was a young man taking money at the counter and I asked him (he looked like a "car-guy") if he had ever seen a Ford Festiva with a Mopar 360 Magnum engine in it.... He, of course, said "no."

I took him out to the car and showed him a Ford Festiva with a 360 Magnum in it.

He was not amused...
