When they first announced the program, I ran stats for some of our Footbrake events, and saw very similar results, maybe .5% higher.

Micheal: Were your stats based on a true start tree race or a race where the faster car got the bye? It will make a difference.

After using TruSTART at both Spring Fling events (Vegas and Bristol), I am very happy with both how it performed and with the racer feedback. After watching it in action, I am going to say that 85 to 90% of the racers gave positive feedback.

Thanks to Bob @ Compulink and Jeff @ LVMS for helping it to become a reality.

Peter

Casey
They were based on existing, standard tree events, as TruStart has only been used at the two Spring Fling events.

I'm sure Great Bend runner up is a trustart fan now also.

TrueStart is a must if your looking for fairness. No way did I earn that round. Tex had a way better package then me. In my opinion he was holding just the right amount and with a near perfect light he would have put me on the trailer, even if I was green. I did an absolutely terrible job and don't deserve that round win. I guess I'm just one of those fast guys in the minority that think TrueStart time has come.
