The whole deal here is just great and really hits home for my family. Brenda's dad Bob Lundholm is a good friend of ours and we consider Brenda and Bill our friends also. Trista's car is a stick shift stocker which we have 2 of and our daughter Kelly is learning to drive one of them.
Big congrats to Trista and Brenda

Interviewed Trista today for the National Dragster story and my Sports Report column on NHRA.com this week. It's always cool to talk to a first-time winner and I appreciate her honesty especially when it comes to the tough job of winning races in a stick car. Very impressive.
I also have to mention that Brenda not only does a great job in her race car, but she is an occasional contributor to National Dragster with her Travels with Brenda feature. It's obvious that she puts a lot of effort into both ventures. Kevin |
