What's the rule regarding engine diaper in SS? Can't seem to find it this morning. Getting ready for 1st pts meet at Galot and need clarification on diapers. Running either LA or lower GT classes. Trying to allow known surprises. Thanks.

regardless the rule, an engine diaper or belly pan should be mandatory on ALL cars and you'll wish you had it if your engine ever lets go in the lights and dumps a gallon and a half of oil under your slicks!

SS3011, thanks for the reply. That's what I thought, but wanted to confirm. Nothing more disappointing to travel to race and not be able to due a rule change.

than realizing that you could have saved your car, your competitor's car and possibility your life if only you would have spent a few hundred dollars on a safety component you hope to never need but if your do, you're glad you did.
