Anyone with a fast car I'd expect they'd like it.

I have a backyard engine most of it done in my backyard. I have always looked forward to heads up runs. It took me over a year to get the Cuda to run the Index. Every heads up run is a report card on how you and your car are doing against the competition. Class racing is heads up racing at its best The rule book described this before you made the decision to come race. Do what is fun for you.

I'm curious what majority wants to do away with heads up. Have you taken a poll? I don't get that. To be honest with you if there are no more heads up, why build an expensive bracket car with rules? Why follow the rules? Why not just invite an 9" outlaw tire class to runs heads up, and end stock all together. Just have more Wally days at the local tracks.

No I haven't. It just just seems like the majority (that I've talked to) is trying to prevent a heads up. I have never heard of anyone that changed classes hoping to have a heads up race. That's why I asked if that's what the majority would like. I'm not expecting a change unless that's what the majority wants. I knew how it worked when I started stock. Didn't understand why it's like that then and still don't. I'll be at the national open and national event in topeka soon. I'll try to ask a few random drivers in stock or super stock if they are looking for a heads up race or trying to prevent one. Actually I'll start a new thread here and ask.
