There is rumour floating around concerning the pay out for the Oahe S/SS Combo at the Oahe Speedway National Open last Sept that all the monies collected were not paid out. Trust me, the monies were paid and then some! I paid for advertising out of my own pocket, to make sure everything balanced out correctly for the S/SS Combo.

So, to you "Arm Chair Quarterbacks" that think you can run things better. Here are ALL my phone numbers, so you can get the advertising list and start collecting money for this year's open!

Hey Curt -

I know what you're going thru. Blow it off as soon as you can. One thing I've learned with certain people - you cannot possibly be nice enough, or give enough FREE money away, or do all of the hard work to hold an event without some turd making up lies. Especially now since we have the internet.

In fifteen years of promoting and hosting national events and sponsoring racers, not ONE actual human has stepped up to say, "Yeah, I'm the guy who didn't get paid."

But lie behind my back? I can't believe some of the lies people create. Stunningly unbelievable disrespect.

Of course some jerks just think it's just FUN to start rumors to "Get you riled up."

I know it gripes you hard - but let 'er go as soon as you can. You know you did right - that's ALL that's needed. You're real friends know you did right. The internet is the new worlds bathroom wall and there's no controlling it.

Lower gas prices now.....

I probalby ought to mention that there have been a few, V-E-R-Y few normal people out there that have have treated me , well, normally. Paul Dilcher and Captain Jack are two of the best.

Gas prices in So.Cal $3.59 a gallon...

Wow! I haven't even heard a rumor here Curt. Of course either I'd have to tell Rick, or he'd have to tell me since we're all there is to Stock/SS up here. I'm sure sorry to here there even IS a rumor.
