Put me in the clueless class because I almost always see the slower car go red if they do. I have always thought it affected my RT as well.

Mr Westcott has the Ford engine together with the new fuel injection and has made quite a few dyno pulls.

Great to see Gene Bichlmeier qualify his '55 Chev in the 6th spot.
And thanks to John Irving and family for continuing to make us Aspen/Volare fans very happy. Unfortunately, I won't be at the Phoenix race this year to visit everyone.

Thanks for the kind Words!
We got the entire herd to the third round. We will be hard at it in Phoenix! The Super Stock car is the old project "Bracket Bird" out of Hot Rod Mag in the 70's with 000,029 Miles on it! That was first race for it and the little 318 ran 11.0s with break in oil (Thank you TriCity Performance!)

I just saw the re-runs of the Pro's & I was wondering where all the people in the stands were on Sunday ??? I remember it being standing room only the 4-5 time's I attended ? There were more empty spaces than people in the stands?? Looks like NHRA had done a nice job on the event , but were's the Fan base ? Did they increase the ticket prices again ???? Did anybody else notice the empty stands at Pomona ???

Dave ,Expensive ticket prices and even more expensive hot dogs and sodas equals No fans in the stands. I overheard one spectator tell his young son, ....Son I'm sorry but there are only a handful of stk/SS cars here today. I almost cried .......

Up until last year, the NorthWest Nationals were held on the same weekend as the Seafair unlimited hydroplane race up the road on Lake Washington. It always draws massive crowds, but the stands at Pacific Raceways were still full for the finals on Sunday. Now it's the following weekend, but I didn't notice a difference in attendance. Traffic was better, though. Dale
