"The JEGS SPORTSnationals, the premier standalone event in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, will continue to be a national event with national points being awarded for all classes except Super Street, which will earn divisional championship points. New in 2016, all racers will receive an NHRA national event grade point for attending the race."

Thanks guys. I have decided to go to the Jeg's Sportsnationals at Bowling Green. I have never been to Bowling Green, and I have never been to the Sportsnationals; so I will be crossing 2 items off of my "bucket list"!

Good choice. Love the whole feel of BG, covered grandstands are nice too on those warm sunny days and the fans are always great. Only trouble I ever had there was finding the tree with the sun in your face in the late afternoon but believe they delay runs when it is particularly bad.

Why wouldn't they give grade points?

I've never been to Maple Grove, but BG is awesome! Only gripe from last year's LODRS race was the PA system. Couldn't hear it in my pit spot or get a radio signal, but that is mostly due to my arrival time. Couldn't hear it very well in the covered stands either.

Don't forget that on Friday evening at 6 the Jones Family/ Jegs will have a racer cookout adjacent to the track.

10-4, had a brain fade. Been so many years thinking of BG being a popular out of Division race for so many and of course will continue to be for the week before Indy. Love racing or spectating there.

I know they are running class in stock, if there are single entries in some classes will they be running the combos?
